Job Descriptions
1. Review and approve samples, such as style, construction, workmanship and quality, measurement to ensure that they meet product specifications
2. Provide technical advice and support to factories, customers, merchandising team and technical team
3. Provide technical control to factories and merchandising team
4. Identify and resolve sample issues such as workmanship and measurements, etc
5. Discuss customers’ comments and improvement areas with customers, factories and merchandisers
6. Explain customers’ requirements, key points and comments to factories
7. Evaluate if there are any safety and functional issues and advice corrective solutions
8. Explain customers’ basic requirements and standards to factories
9. Provide advice on grading scales/tolerance levels to factories
10. Discuss work progress and issues and difficulties encountered with merchandisers
11. Create/maintain Create and maintain tracking record, data and communicate status both internally/externally
12. Maintain physical and virtual lab dips, color standards and library, including the setup management and the distribution of color standards to resources
13. Follow established processes and protocols and maintain strong partnership with resources
14. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
1. Diploma or Degree in Clothing, Textile Merchandising, Textile, Colorization or related discipline preferred
2. Minimum 5 years' relevant experience
3. Strong product and material knowledge with good product safety requirements
4. Able to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive and detail minded
5. Ability to build strong relationships with the team, communicate effectively with internal and external parties
6. Strong problem solving skills
7. Able to manage multiple tasks environment
8. Basic command of written and spoken English
9. Literate in Microsoft office programs
