Job description
- expert knowledge in the creative interpretation of stylistic ideas for innovative womenswear and menswear.
- creative pattern cutting, draping and 3D design
- knowledge of contemporary design, and ideally good practical knowledge of construction and finishing techniques.
- Plan and deliver in an effective manner in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Design and update course material
- Monitor and maintain student morale and motivation.
- Monitor students’ performance and render support as required.
Desired Candidate Profile
- BFA or Masters diploma in Fashion or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum teaching experience of 3 years.
- Hands on teaching experience in garment construction.
- Should be able to take all the subjects of Fashion Design especially technical hands-on and creative courses.
- Willingness to teach in a multi-cultural environment.
- Good Communication skills and presentable.
- Ability to take initiative for betterment.
- Should be able to handle student query.
- Organized and able to match deadlines.
Key Skills
Good knowledge of Design process, Drafting, Draping and Sewing techniques.
